Magic moments
Sunrise hike to the Flecknerspitze
Admittedly, dragging yourself out of bed so early takes a lot of motivation, but it's worth it. Promised! In the dark of night, the flashlights flicker towards the mountain summit, where we will immediately forget all the effort of the climb. Because as soon as the first rays of sun rise behind gigantic mountain peaks and warm our faces, the mood becomes magical. Cuddled up in thick jackets, we enjoy the natural spectacle, drink tea and eat a piece of curd cake before heading back home.
- From June to September once a week
- ...if the weather cooperates
- Accompanied by a family member - because we still haven't had enough of it ;-)
„Take a little break.
One minute. Don’t talk. Just look.
And see the beauty.“

Tour description
Arrival: The journey goes to St. Leonhard along the Jaufenpassstraße. At the Römerkehre (17.5 km - kilometers from St. Leonhard) a small gravel road branches off to the left. Follow this to the free Fleckner parking.
Directions: From the starting point on the wide path 12 A in a good 20 minutes across the south-facing grassy slopes westwards to the Flecknerhütte (2100 m, summer management). From the hut now on a marked path through the rock-strewn grassy slopes, steep but not difficult up to the ridge and on path 12 over the somewhat rocky ridge, past the top station of a drag lift, easy to the summit of the Fasnachter (2268 m); then westwards briefly down into a ridge depression and also easily up to the summit of the Flecknerspitze (2331 m) on trail 12.
