The Culinary Delights of the Alpine Tradition

We only serve you with the best at the Apple Hotel Torgglerhof in the Passier Valley

If South Tyrol is the meeting-ground between two cultures, then it is most evident in the kitchen. Our menu includes appetizers and homemade ravioli as well as goulash with dumplings. We offer a number of specialties, but with they all share one thing in common: the freshness of local seasonal produce, all strictly at ‘zero’ km.

A half-board stay at the Apple Hotel includes a salad buffet and freshly made hors d’oeuvres, followed by a light five-course menu of your choice prepared by our chef, Christian and his capable staff. A selection of cheeses with various homemade sauces ends off the meal. Depending on the season, we host theme evenings based on a specific product or ingredient such as the apple, asparagus or chestnuts. We also cater to vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free – on request.

As resident chef at the family hotel restaurant over the past five years, Christian passionately dedicates himself to his profession, which he considers a vocation. After working under celebrity chefs in South Tyrol and Switzerland, he decided to return home establishing himself and winning a number of international awards.

We at the Apple Hotel believe that dining enjoyment is further enhanced in a natural environment and we set the tables outdoors as soon as the weather starts to warm up. Guests are free to choose their preferred dining table, perhaps under our magnificent willow tree in the garden or on our sun-kissed terrace. In the cooler months, guests are invited into the new dining room with a view of the spectacular apple orchards.
